Q: What does it cost to adopt an animal?

A:  Dogs: $175.00 Cats: $90.00 This fee includes spay/neuter surgery, micorchipping with registration and all vaccinations appropriate to the animal's age at the time of adoption.  For Springfield residents adiptin g a dog licensing through March of the following year is included.  Occasionally, these prices may vary based on individual animals and level of medial attention privided to them. 

The fee to adopt animals such as birds, ferrets, or guinea pigs varies from species to species.  Cash or credit cards is accepted for payment.
