Q: How long does it take to receive a duplicate copy of a certificate?

A: There are  only 2 ways of getting a certificate (birth, death or marriage) (1) come into the office and it takes 3-5 minutes or (2) thru the mail it takes 5-7 days.  Please view our website for additional information. To receive the document faster please use an express mail service,i.e.FedEx, post office, DHL.  You must send a prepaid return express envelope and they are done the same day they come into the office.  We accept cash in person and only a money order or certified bank check through the mail.  Business certificates take about 10 minutes and an Intention to be Married takes about 15 minutes.
