Q: Do you take care of stray cats?

A: While not mandated by law to accept cats we recognize there are thousands of displaced in our community every year and try to be available to accept cats found roaming in the three cities we serve.   We ask that you bring them to us whenever pssible.  An animal control officer may be able to respond to pick up a cat but this is very dependent on staffing levels and emergenicies received.

Stray  cats are also accepted by appointment only at Dakin Pionerer Valley Humane Society, 171 Union Street Springfield 01105  www.dpvhs.org
